BVA Camp is a format where it is easy to become part of a shared rhythm: play, communicate, meet new people, and experience the trip together with people who value sport, movement, and travel.
I'm coming alone β will I feel out of place?+β
No. The camp is designed so solo travelers quickly feel part of the group through early introductions, shared sessions and easy social moments.
I'm not a confident player and just starting out in beach volleyball β is this for me?+β
Yes. There is a dedicated beginner group and the coaches adjust levels after the first sessions based on real play rather than assumptions.
Do I need a visa for Bali? How does it work for Russians / Indonesian residents and other nationalities?+β
Russian citizens need a Visa on Arrival (or e-VOA in advance), valid for 30 days, plus a passport valid for at least 6 months, a return ticket and an electronic customs declaration (e-CD). Indonesian citizens don't need a visa, and rules for other nationalities depend on your passport β some get visa-free entry, some get a visa on arrival, and some need to apply in advance. Always check the current rules for your nationality on official Indonesian sources before buying tickets.
How do I get there? Where do people fly from and how much are the flights?+β
The arrival airport is Denpasar, I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS). Flight cost and origin depend on where you're flying from β the manager can help you find a route and estimate the cost after you request the presentation.
Do I need to bring a partner for doubles?+β
No. Pairs and teams are formed inside the camp, and coaches help place people into useful match situations.
What is my level β will I fit in?+β
Beginner: you're just getting to know beach volleyball, your serve is unstable and you don't yet feel your positions on court. Intermediate: you play from time to time, can receive, set and complete a rally, but lack consistency and tactics. Advanced: you train regularly and/or play tournaments and want to structure your game. At the start we help you find your level through a few questions and the first sessions, then coaches adjust groups based on real play.
Is this more about sport or about vacation? I'm afraid I won't handle the workload.+β
It is a balance of training and travel, not a punishing sports-camp regime. You can keep a comfortable rhythm and skip a session when needed.
Is insurance mandatory? What should it cover?+β
It is strongly recommended to have coverage for active holidays and sports injuries so you can train and travel with confidence. The organizer is not responsible for participants' health or personal belongings during the camp.
What if I cancel the trip? Will I lose my money?+β
Exact refund terms are confirmed before booking, but the team tries to help with replacements or rescheduling whenever possible. In cases of force majeure, we reserve the right to change coaches, and refunds are not guaranteed in these situations.
Where will I stay? Do I need to find accommodation myself or is it included?+β
Accommodation for all three islands β Bali, Gili and Nusa Penida β can be arranged through the organizer package or booked independently with guidance from trusted options.
What will I receive after requesting the presentation?+β
The manager sends you the full camp presentation with the day-by-day itinerary, coaching team, package options and current pricing, plus a direct contact to ask follow-up questions before you decide.
Where do the training sessions take place?+β
The main training block runs at the BVA covered courts on Bali, with additional sessions and tournament formats on Gili and Nusa Penida as part of the island-hopping itinerary.
Who are the coaches?+β
The camp is led by Grigory Goncharov, Olga Motrich and Rinat Darbaev as guest coaches, supported on the ground by the local BVA coaching and hosting team for daily logistics and level grouping.
How can I contact the manager?+β
You can message the manager directly on WhatsApp or Telegram, or leave a request through the registration link β whichever is easiest, you'll get a personal reply with the next steps.
